Limit order book matching engine
A limit order book matching engine in Java, my first project in the language.

Design Engineering (opens in a new tab) at Imperial College London (opens in a new tab)
I'm a second-year student at the Dyson School of Design Engineering. Right now I'm managing the engine knock sensing project at Imperial Formula Racing. Recently I finished a limit order book engine in Java, a pairs-trading backtest and an options pricing engine.
Selected work
A limit order book matching engine in Java, my first project in the language.
A Mastercard–Visa pairs trade in Python, with an out-of-sample test that produced too few signals to judge.
Knock sensing for Imperial Formula Racing. I manage the project as an Engine Team Engineer.
A sensor insole that detects foot tapping, leg shaking and heart rate, built by a team of three at the UpLYFT hackathon.
Black-Scholes, binomial and Monte Carlo option pricers in Python, checked against each other.
A campus social app in React Native and Supabase. I ran user testing and planned a Figma redesign around a bottom tab bar.
A ladder that runs from the boat down into the water, so my dog can climb back aboard after a swim.
A modular pair of heels designed so you can drive in them.
Experience
Jul–Aug 2026
Design Engineering Intern
I redesigned the production tooling for the Ford V710 (Transit) front bumper reinforcement, adding a hole so the part fastens faster on the assembly line.
I updated four upper and lower mould components in CATIA to carry the change, keeping dimensional accuracy and the interface requirements.

Maths and physics tutor
I tutor maths and physics students.
Writing
I'll write about what I'm building: the trading and pricing code, and what I learn on the way. The first post will appear here.
About

I'm a second-year Design Engineering student at Imperial College London's Dyson School. My course covers electronics, software, mechanical design and human-centred design. Outside it I build things that cross those lines: trading and pricing code in Python and Java, and engine knock sensing with Imperial Formula Racing. I tutor maths and physics, and I'm building my economics and business knowledge alongside the engineering.
